How very very Interesting

I know I promised to update after I got home from holidays, but in all honesty people, I have just not had the time.   As I mentioned before we lost some people at work, so between training the new people and working 40+ hours myself, then coming home and keeping up with yardwork/housework, I’m almost dead by 7pm every day.  I’m 26 for pete’s sake, we don’t tire out by 7 PM!!!

Before I left for holidays I started a Blood Elf Priest, she’s over there —> under the name Kaelyb. She was level 15 when I left for holidays. I got back on the 10th of August, and she’s now level 42. The interesting things about her? 1) she’s the highest Horde Character (in terms of level) I’ve ever had, and B) she’s also the highest levelled Priest I’ve ever had.  I had originally started her because a friend and I were going to level up toons together (which we still are, we’ve just decided to go Alliance, instead of Horde, since we know Alliance questlines better), but she’s been pretty much running solo since level 17 or so.  I play her a lot now because, as I’m sure you’ve read on other AC blogs, we’ve taken an indefinite break from raiding. There are actually quite a few AC’ers that have Horde characters on our server, we even have a horde version of the AC guild.

So, in mentioning the whole thing about Kaelyb, one of my secret weapons for the short time I get to play every day is this nifty little addon called Tourguide; you can find it at http://www.tekkub.net/addons/TourGuide.  Basically, it lets you upload a guide that is specific to your level, it will tell you which quests to get at what time, when to get flight paths, when to change hearths, when do do quests, when to turn them in, and more. It also helps if you use an additional addon (either tomtom or cartographer with waypoints will work) because then you get an arrow on your screen which points you in the right direction to go.  This addon has helped me immensely, as I mentioned earlier that I’ve never really played a Horde Character, so I don’t really know the quests or the lay of the land.

More WoW goodness!  One of the newest things being offered by Blizzard right now is an exclusive Zhevra mount for recruiting a friend to play WoW and then having them sign up for 2 months of subscribed service.   Other bonuses of the recruit a friend program are: You and your friend (your friend will be linked to you as you were the one to recruit them) will earn triple the experience when grouped together and questing, you and your friend will be able to summon each other from anywhere in Azeroth or Beyond, and for any two levels of experience that your friend earns they can grant any one of your characters 1 level of experience.   Now, there are restrictions to all of these, of course, but for the most part, it’s a really cool experience.

I’ve recruited three people…..

And lastly, I just have to say – I got an iPhone before I went on holidays, and it’s as awesome as everyone’s been saying.  Just one problem though… It’s hard not to put millions of little 0.99$ + charges on the mastercard… it really is.  Someone save me and send me an iTunes card, okay?
